      How many unit types are supported?

      29 quantity families: length, area, volume, mass, speed, time, data, pressure, energy, power (including VA, kVA and MVA), force, torque, frequency, angle, density, flow, illuminance, temperature, fuel economy, plus voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, inductance, conductance, charge and the three radiation quantities.

      Why does kW to kVA need a power factor?

      kW measures real power and kVA apparent power: kW = kVA × PF. The power converter therefore shows a power factor field (default 0.9, editable) whenever you convert between real units (W, kW, MW, hp, BTU/h) and apparent units (VA, kVA, MVA). Conversions within either group use plain factors.

      Which marla standard do you use?

      The Punjab revenue standard of 272.25 square feet (1 kanal = 20 marla). The 225 square feet marla used in some builder markets is listed as a separate unit so results are never ambiguous.

      Why is temperature handled separately?

      Temperature scales have offsets (0 °C = 273.15 K), so a simple multiplication factor would be wrong. The converter routes temperature through Kelvin internally, and fuel economy through km/L because L/100 km is a reciprocal measure.

      Does anything leave my browser?

      No. Every conversion runs locally with standard SI-traceable factors; there are no network calls and no stored data beyond your optional in-browser history.
